Terms & Conditions (Terms of Service)

Welcome to Cuts Without Borders

By accessing or using www.cutswithoutborders.com (the “Platform”), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”). If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

1. Who We Are Cuts Without Borders is a marketplace that connects customers (“Clients”) with independent barbers and salons (“Barbers”) specializing in textured and Afro hair. We are not a barber shop and do not employ the Barbers listed on our Platform.

2. Use of the Platform

• You must be at least 18 years old or have parental consent to use the Platform.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password.
• You agree not to use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or to post false, misleading, or discriminatory content.

3. Booking & Payments

• All bookings are agreements directly between the Client and the Barber.
• Payments (including deposits) are processed securely via Stripe.
• Deposits or full pre-payments may be required depending on the Barber’s settings. Deposits are non-refundable unless the Barber cancels the appointment.
• Cancellations and refunds are subject to each Barber’s individual cancellation policy displayed at booking.

4. Barber Subscriptions

• Barbers start with a Free plan. Pro ($15/month or $150/year) and Elite ($30/month or $300/year) plans are available with additional features.
• All subscription fees are in USD and are non-refundable except where required by law.

5. Reviews & Content

• You may leave honest reviews after an appointment.
• We reserve the right to remove reviews that contain hate speech, personal attacks, or false information.
• Photos and videos uploaded remain your property, but you grant Cuts Without Borders a worldwide, royalty-free license to display them on the Platform.

6. Verified Badge The Verified badge indicates that a Barber’s identity, qualifications, and/or premises have been manually checked by our team. It is not a guarantee of service quality.

7. Limitation of Liability To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cuts Without Borders is not liable for:

• The quality of services provided by Barbers
• Disputes between Clients and Barbers
• Loss or damage resulting from cancellations, no-shows, or inaccurate listing information

8. Termination We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or behavior that harms the community.

9. Governing Law These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.

10. Changes to Terms We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
